It’s set to be a highlight of the motorcycling summer… the Carole Nash Great Scottish Bike Show takes place on the weekend of August 9-10 in its new home, the Royal Highland Centre near Edinburgh.

Giacomo Agostini - Ago's Leap

Bringing together modern and classic for one superb celebration of biking, the show’s star attraction must surely be the appearance of the most successful motorcycle racer of all time, Giacomo Agostini.

‘Ago’, the 15-time world champion, holds a staggering record of 122 Grand Prix wins and he’ll be sharing tales from his incredible career with showgoers throughout the two days of the event alongside Scotland’s own former TT star, Alex George.

And to top it all off, Scottish indie-rock cover band Shardlake will be playing three separate hour-long sets on each day to keep everyone thoroughly entertained.

Motorcycle manufacturing giant Yamaha will be in attendance with the much-vaunted Dark Side MT Tour – the official launch event for the MT-09 Street Tracker.

The tour is to giving visitors the opportunity to take a free test ride of the MT-09 Street Rally, the MT-09, the MT-07 and the new MT-125, while also enjoying a host of other riding experiences.

In addition to the unique test ride opportunity, the MT Tour events will include the Dave Coates Stunt Show, ‘have-a-go’ activities including the MT-09 Extreme Wheelie Machine, the MT Tour truck with exclusive MT apparel and accessories on display, a paddock for existing MT owners.
