THE BEST IN THE WEST – BRISTOL CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE SHOW IS BACK

The 38th Carole Nash Bristol Classic MotorCycle Show promises to add colour and excitement to a winter weekend and deliver something for every biking enthusiast to enjoy.

Held over the weekend of February 3-4, the event will see enthusiasts flock to the south-west of England to scour the autojumble for bargains, watch the hammer fall on intriguing auction lots and savour the sense of occasion generated by motorcycle club members proudly displaying their classic steeds.

Having outgrown its original Bristol base, the show moved a few miles south to the spacious surroundings of the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, and has continued to expand ever since – with dealers, traders and visitors all enjoying its friendly atmosphere.

Motorcycle clubs have always been at the heart of the Bristol show and will once again rival even the market-leading Carole Nash Classic MotorCycle Show at Stafford in both quantity and quality.

The addition of the Charterhouse Auction created an exciting new dimension to the show and the 2018 sale already has an array of interesting lots booked in, ranging from a Cotton road racer to a very desirable Norton Atlas. Viewing is on the Saturday, with lots being auctioned the next day.

Of course, autojumble is at the heart of any good classic show and although the event takes place in the West Country it attracts jumblers and trade stands from all corners of the UK and even continental Europe.

Event organiser Nick Mowbray said: “What better way to shrug off the winter blues than with a visit to this popular show? We strive to deliver an event that keeps on getting better and better and believe this year’s Bristol Classic MotorCycle Show will be the best yet.”

Discounted advance tickets are now on sale for the show, with a one-day adult pass costing just £11 available until 8:30am on Monday 29 January 2018. Tickets will also be available on the gate at £13. Advance tickets for children (Under-12s) are £3 each, also available until 8.30am on Monday 29 January and £4 on the gate.
