What it's all about...
The oldest and largest of all the
classic shows, The Carole Nash
International Classic Motorcycle Show
is
very much a traditional show that
attracts the best from around the
world.
There are club
stands, trade stands, private entries
and a massive autojumble that fills
several of the halls and outside field
at the Stafford County Showground. It
is
always a great draw for the enthusiast
and last year over 30,000 people
flocked
to the showground, will you be one of
them this year?
With a number of major manufacturers
already booked for this years show,
don’t forget to bring that vital
documentation (motorcycle licence,
both parts if you have a photocard
licence) and a crash helmet to the
show where you can test ride on a new
EFi Bullet or a Thruxton Bonneville.
Other motorcycles available for ride
outs include a Fireblade, Rocket III,
CBR 600 and a Bullet Café Racer.
CAR
PARKING Carparking is FREE for the
duration of the weekend to
visitors.
Now established as part of the
fixtures and fittings of the Carole
Nash International Classic MotorCycle
Show, the Classic Racer Grand Prix
Paddock will be a hive of activity
over the weekend of the 24-25 April
2010.
The celebration of 40 years of Triple
Racing from Triumph and BSA will be
the theme dominating the pits and with
a vast array of iconic machines on
display – and starting up - it will be
one of the first places to head to at
the show.
Ex-racers Percy Tait, John Cooper, Ron
Chandler and Chris Vincent will be in
attendance throughout the weekend,
meeting and greeting fans. Joining
these racing legends will be some of
the all important men who worked
behind the scenes and who helped make
these riders break from the pack – BSA
Works Mechanics Martin Russell, Steve
Brown and more will be on hand to tell
tales of their time in motorsport.
HELMET PARK
This year there will be a helmet park
provided, and will be run by Riders
for Health in the Main Carpark, all
proceed going to the charity.
