With only a matter of weeks left until the curtains open on the 30th Carole Nash Bristol Classic
Motorcycle Show, the Classic Bike Shows Team is working hard to ensure this 30th Anniversary of the
event will be the best to date!
Held on 20-21 February 2010, at Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, this traditional show,
now in its 30th year, always brings something new and exciting for both traders and visitors alike. This
year, a fantastic new marquee is sure to be a hub of activity over the course of the weekend; full of
clubs, traders and autojumblers, situated in the busy area between the club halls and the ever popular
Edmund Rack Hall.
Of course, due to the location of this event, the show also presents the best place to see some of the
south-west’s best privately owned and restored motorcycles and this year’s gems include a 1968
Aermacchi Grand Prix Racer and a 1948 Velocette MSS – both treasured and in top concours condition.
As usual, the clubs will all be putting on great displays and competing for the highly coveted ‘Best Club
Stand’ award, where the winners walk away with £750! Last year’s winners The Malmesbury Classic
Motorcycle Club will pull out all the stops to maintain their crown so the competition is sure to be fierce!
Exhibition Manager Nick Mowbray said: “We are always delighted to see in the start of the classic
motorcycle show season here at Shepton Mallet. W ith only a few weeks left until the gates open,
this the last chance to buy those advance tickets and guarantee entry so don’t miss out!”
