COUNTDOWN TO THE CLASSIC JAPANESE BIKE SHOW OF THE YEAR BEGINS!

Make sure you're one of the 30,000 visitors expected to attend the 16th Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show over 17-18 October 2009. As the largest classic Japanese bike show in the world, and with international adoration among the Classic motorcycle community, this is the must do event for all enthusiasts, particularly for lovers of those iconic machines of the 1970s and 80s. Not only does the Staffordshire Country Showground promise an abundance of halls filled with classic wares, spares, club stands and autojumble plots, but leading manufacturers and major dealers are also expected to attend, adding to the eclectic classic motorcycle mix. Eager enthusiasts can also enjoy the ever popular Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock, Bonhams world- renowned auction and the incredible Wall of Death, which are sure to wow the crowds at this now institutional event. But that’s not all! Former world champion Fast Freddie Spencer will also appear at the show on both days, as special guest of honour. Universally acknowledged as one of the greatest racers of the 1980s, Spencer not only holds three world titles but also the honour of being the only rider to win the 250cc and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships in the same season (1985). Race enthusiasts will have the opportunity to get their memorabilia signed, listen to the many interviews planned over the weekend, and to enjoy the superstar’s great racing tales of the 1980s.
