With only days to go to the 29th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show, and the added
excitement of special guest of honour, British racing icon, Carl ‘Foggy’ Fogarty, the Classic Bike Show
Team are getting geared up to welcome record crowds at Stafford County Showground over the
weekend of 25-26 April.
Carl will be in attendance at the show on both days. During his long and hugely successful racing
career Carl was a real fans’ favourite with his no-holds-barred, all-action style, which carried him to
Formula 1, World Superbike and Isle of Man TT victories, beating the world’s best along the way. This
long-awaited weekend will bring plenty of opportunities for his fans to get to meet him and hear his
tales of triumph.
The jewels in the crown of any great show are the club stands and the halls at Stafford will be
positively bursting at the seams with glittering displays. With a total prize fund of £2250, and £1000 of
that going to the best club stand they have every incentive to put in the effort, and they never
disappoint!
Bonhams auction, which takes place on Sunday 26 with viewing on the Saturday, never fails to amaze
with record-breaking prices realised for the most exotic machines on offer, but there are always a
bargain or two to be had for the switched-on buyer. This show’s star lot looks set to be the ex Eric
Oliver Norton outfit on which he claimed the World Championship – do not miss out!
And, in a first for any UK classic show many of the leading manufacturers have booked space at the
29th Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show! Not only will visitors get a unique opportunity
to admire the latest and best tackle on offer, they’ll get the chance to ride them too. To claim your
demo ride all you need to do is bring along your riding kit and both parts of your driving licence – but
be early – test rides are sure to get booked up quick!
Exhibition Manager, Nick Mowbray said: “We are thoroughly excited about the 29th Carole Nash
International Classic MotorCycle Show. With Foggy as guest of honour and the fantastic manufacturer
support, the show has been raised to another level and we can’t wait for the weekend to start.”
