Glynis Roberts, exhibitions administration manager, has worked for Mortons Media Group for a number of years. Starting out on the reception desk Glynis made her way up into the shows team before becoming administration manager in 2002.
Glynis has always had an overwhelming fascination with motorcycles and by 16 had already met the man of her dreams, Greg Roberts, who she married in 1977. Greg is a self-employed
motorcycle trader and also races in the New Era championship and the Sound of Thunder.
After racing for the just a couple of years at Cadwell Park, Brands Hatch and Mallory Park, in 2005 Greg was extremely pleased to finish runner-up the New Era championship.
Readers of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics may recall the December 2005 issue front cover featuring a yellow Honda 400/4 – Glynis and Greg have spent many evenings restoring that very bike.
Classic Bike Guide readers may also recall a BSA B31 in the May 2006 issue, it was purchased by Glynis at the Eurojumble and been named Netley. You can quite often see Glynis touring the back roads of Lincolnshire on either of these beloved machines.
As well as a passion for motorcycles Glyn also has an avid interest in horse riding. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, Louise who is a staff nurse at City Hospital in Nottingham and Jason who has just graduated with a first in electronic engineering.
